Microstepping
technology divides each rotation into 255 steps , meaning that movement can be very smooth
and precise, without the need for an encoder or position and reset sensors. DDS
Elettronica can produce on request a tailor-made board with functions to suit the
customer's requirements. The introduction of DMX 512 has allowed us to produce a standard
board (DDS 121) based on 3 axis microstepping. It includes a microphone for synchronised
music-lighting effects, and a dip switch for address selection. This board will provide
professional standard Pan and Tilt functions, for a low price.

These are some examples of our 5/3 motor controls. They
include analogue output, relays, special communications net and are totally controlled by
DMX.
It is possible to apply microstepping to motors up to a maximum spec. of 14 Amps, 70V
DC.

The circuit in the photo is one of the
interfaces created for our clents. It generates DMX, or transmits DDS' own protocol via an
RS 485 serial port. As always with one of these modules, it is possible to enter a 'show'
into the projectors memory, and allow it to carry out the commands in perpetual mode (i.e.
a non-stop loop).
We have
been working in the lighting sector from many years , and our Know How is at your disposal
to create specialist boards , and to back you up during further development.
The major
microcontroller used runs FLASH technology , meaning that you can up-date the software at
any time , using a computer combined with an electronic interface created by DDS
Elettronica.
